All items affected by the fire were inventoried, with special attention given to identifying total loss items. Salvageable items were packed out of the garage and attic space for cleaning and restoration. Total loss items were also removed from the premises and stored onsite. Total loss items were stored in the onsite POD until the claim and reconstruction process was completed. The salvageable items were thoroughly cleaned and restored to pre-fire condition. After the reconstruction was finished, and the claim was settled, the total loss items were disposed of properly.
